ABOUT ME
Leave it to a paragraph bio to make you self-reflect. There’s so much but also so little. I am a busy body, always moving. I work in sales and love hustling and strategizing a deal. I live for my family and friends, most recently the newest addition to our family — my daughter Ada. I am obsessed with food — cooking it, taking pictures of it, and discovering new recipes and restaurants. My mind never stops, when my head hits the pillow at night is when it really gets started. I’ve woken up many nights and written notes in my phone with new ideas. I am always pushing myself and my husband to be more compassionate, aware and just people so Ada can grow up in a better world. Never stop learning.
How Long Have You Loved Your Stationery?
Since I can remember. I used to love shopping for back to school notebooks, pens, and stationery. There was something about having colour coded binders and duo-tangs that got me so excited to get back to learning.
When I first came to Phidon
Before it opened :) The minute I walked in I knew it was magic, and I wasn’t wrong.
HOW I USE STATIONERY DAILY
Journaling, to-do lists (I LOVE LISTS) and writing cards. Although currently halted, I love bringing my notebooks and pen on travels. Being somewhere new always sparks new ideas and my creative side and I love having beautiful items to use to capture my thoughts.
FAVOURITE PHIDON MEMORY
My parents opened the store the year after I left for University. At Phidon’s fifth anniversary, my mum said these past five years were the best she’s ever lived. I immediately gasped and said “you mean since I left?” It’s a joke we talk about to this day. But in all honesty, it fills me with so much joy to see what they’ve created, then and now.
